So I was going through some old portfolios and found these from my first printmaking class ever. These are, by no means, brilliant but this is where I fell in love with printmaking. I liked the how labor intensive printmaking was. I liked working in black and white mostly. I liked all the crazy different steps involved in making prints.
I'm looking into doing printmaking again. I can taste it! I want ink all over my hands and face. I want to roll out that tacky ink into a nice even layer of black. I want to run my plates through a press with dampened paper and see what comes out on the other side. Because that is magic!
