My husband and I spent 2 hours at the lake yesterday afternoon. The weather was perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful. I was too relaxed to even think about going back to the car for my camera to take pictures.
I brought along my watercolor materials and spent the entire 2 hours painting. I practiced under painting which I almost never do anymore. It was not my greatest painting ever but I learned a lot. I spent the entire 2 hours getting reacquainted with watercolor. Relearning one of my old loves.
I'm so thankful for these last few days of summer. Days like this are precious in Oregon.
