You will have to excuse the crummy photo. I quickly snapped this with my phone just now. I worked on this for a couple of hours last night. It felt like I needed to work on a larger scale and I've been really interested in doing more portraits and figurative work since starting the whole Inside Out thing. My self portraits have been not so great. So not happy with them but once I busted out the large paper, pencils and pen & ink I started having fun.
Also, I didn't draw myself.
Kind of a made up face.
Didn't know if it was going to be a woman or a man.
Still not sure.
But I'm having a great time with it. I needed something fresh to work on.
I will get better photos of this piece later when it is closer to completion.
